Position Overview
Chevron Corporation, one of the world's leading integrated energy companies, is seeking entry-level Electrical and Instrumentation & Control Engineers to support operating facilities and projects. The role involves applying technical engineering knowledge and project management skills to optimize facility performance and deploy innovative technologies that reduce carbon impact while increasing operational efficiency. The successful candidate will be enrolled in Chevron's Horizons Program for early-career development.

Entry-level Electrical Engineers will join either the Electrical Systems development track or the Instrumentation & Controls development path. During the Horizons Program, engineers develop a core technical foundation and gain exposure to various specialized fields such as Reliability & Integrity Engineering, Technical Safety Engineering, Subsea Engineering, Engineering Design & Projects, and General Facilities Engineering.

Key Responsibilities
- Optimize facilities to deliver maximum value safely and reliably.
- Provide technical engineering support for turnarounds and projects.
- Develop and deploy industry-leading technologies to reduce carbon emissions, increase efficiency, and maximize returns.
- Utilize digitalization and data analytics to improve process operations and safety.
Required Qualifications
- Students completing the final year of their bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering; or individuals with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering with two years or less of directly related work experience.
- Proven academic performance with strong communication, leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to drive on a routine basis.
Benefits & Perks
- Compensation: Anticipated salary range of $108,000 - $136,300 (U.S. payroll offers, based on degree level and discipline).
