Job Description

Position Overview

An industry leader in mobile and online banking technology is seeking aTechnical Support Specialistwith a great attitude. In this entry-level role, you will work directly with our clients on short-term upgrade projects for mobile and online banking solutions. You will work under a team manager in coordination with other departments and be responsible for technical tasks as well as project tracking and QA testing.Working schedule:Monday – Friday;Working hours:9am – 5pmUS EST (New York time zone).

Key Responsibilities

  • Understanding our banking software and apps in-depth
  • Tracking project statuses, meeting deadlines, and launching new products
  • Training banks and credit unions on mobile and online technology while communicating technical concepts appropriately
  • Configuring mobile banking apps and performing technical configurations
  • Coordinating integrations with third-party financial services
  • Collaborating with software technicians, technical support, and developers as needed
  • Examining technical logs to troubleshoot and resolve implementation issues
  • Performing basic QA tests after implementing changes
  • Leveraging work or volunteer experience in technical processes and explaining these processes to non-technical audiences

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Ability to establish strong working relationships with customers
  • Solid troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to quickly learn technical skills
  • In-depth understanding of our mobile and online banking products
  • Experience coordinating with developers to diagnose issues
  • Ability to document evolving feature requests
  • Capacity to manage a dynamic workload with multiple concurrent tasks
  • Experience in managing, monitoring, and improving tech support processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in technical support
  • Familiarity with various mobile phone platforms, especially iOS and Android
  • Project management experience
  • Experience working directly with US-based customers
  • Knowledge of the US banking system
