Job Description
Position Overview
An industry leader in mobile and online banking technology is seeking aTechnical Support Specialistwith a great attitude. In this entry-level role, you will work directly with our clients on short-term upgrade projects for mobile and online banking solutions. You will work under a team manager in coordination with other departments and be responsible for technical tasks as well as project tracking and QA testing.Working schedule:Monday – Friday;Working hours:9am – 5pmUS EST (New York time zone).
Key Responsibilities
- Understanding our banking software and apps in-depth
- Tracking project statuses, meeting deadlines, and launching new products
- Training banks and credit unions on mobile and online technology while communicating technical concepts appropriately
- Configuring mobile banking apps and performing technical configurations
- Coordinating integrations with third-party financial services
- Collaborating with software technicians, technical support, and developers as needed
- Examining technical logs to troubleshoot and resolve implementation issues
- Performing basic QA tests after implementing changes
- Leveraging work or volunteer experience in technical processes and explaining these processes to non-technical audiences
Required Qualifications
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Ability to establish strong working relationships with customers
- Solid troubleshooting skills
- Ability to quickly learn technical skills
- In-depth understanding of our mobile and online banking products
- Experience coordinating with developers to diagnose issues
- Ability to document evolving feature requests
- Capacity to manage a dynamic workload with multiple concurrent tasks
- Experience in managing, monitoring, and improving tech support processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in technical support
- Familiarity with various mobile phone platforms, especially iOS and Android
- Project management experience
- Experience working directly with US-based customers
- Knowledge of the US banking system
