Product Designer – Design Systems

We are currently seeking a Product Designer to join our Card Servicing Experience design team. The role focuses on creating experiences and tools that help our servicing associates and customers navigate any question or problem along their journey with us. You will oversee work on our agent platform and its design system, ensuring methodical, systematic growth of product features and consistent, reusable componentry across our portfolio.

Core Responsibilities

  • Product Design Expertise – Leverage a range of skills across interaction, visual, and service design, creating artifacts such as journey maps, blueprints, high‑fidelity designs and prototypes.
  • Design System Expertise – Build and maintain robust, scalable components in Figma, document tech specs and usage guidelines, create responsive components, apply atomic design methodology, and manage design library versions.
  • Leadership & Mentoring – Lead design projects, delegate work, mentor junior designers, and build strong partnerships with cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Human‑Centered Thinking – Navigate stakeholder needs, apply research insights, scalability and technical constraints, focusing on customer‑centered and inclusive design.
  • Business‑Focused Insight – Use product and market knowledge to shape shared vision for the team and stakeholders.
  • Problem‑Solving & Technical Acumen – Apply tech and data insights to move cross‑functional teams faster and navigate technical limits.
  • Collaboration & Workshop Facilitation – Partner with designers and product owners, facilitate workshops, validate components, and manage roadmap prioritisation.
  • Communication & Governance – Present work to diverse audiences, onboard new teams to the design system, provide actionable guidance, and share key announcements.

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 6 years of experience in a Product Design role.
  • At least 6 years of experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
  • Experience leading a design system.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience collaborating with product, tech, and business partners.
  • Experience leading design projects or teams.
  • Experience leading a multi‑level design system within a larger ecosystem.
  • Experience working in heavily regulated, data‑heavy problem spaces.

Salary

Plano, TX: $149,800 – $171,000

McLean, VA: $164,800 – $188,100

Richmond, VA: $149,800 – $171,000

New York, NY: $179,700 – $205,100

This role is also eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long‑term incentives.
