Freight Logistics Sales Representative

Position Overview

Freight Logistics Sales Representative at Logistics Worldwide. Location: Jacksonville FL. Salary: $32,500 to $37,500 Annual Salary plus commission; up to 12% Commission on Gross Profit with an expected first year income of approximately $55,000+. As an Account Representative, you will support an established Sales Team in driving revenue, learn the industry through an accelerated training program, and focus on identifying and growing new and existing business by presenting the company’s newest transportation services.

Key Responsibilities

• Close new and existing customers to move their freight
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive sales growth
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of customer shipments
• Manage daily shipment activities, resolving issues to ensure pickups and deliveries are on time
• Work with the sales team to provide and negotiate competitive pricing and rates
• Input, update, and manage shipment information in state-of-the-art systems
• Collaborate with the support team to ensure each shipment is serviced properly
• Assist with billing and accounting responsibilities as needed
• Become a subject matter expert for new transportation services
• Manage freight account operations by building relationships and closing deals
• Oversee high volume interactions to ensure goods are transported safely and delivered on time
• Engage in rate negotiations and contract discussions
• Collaborate with carrier partners, shippers, and receivers for effective shipment tracking

Required Qualifications

• College degree preferred
• Availability to work full-time, 100% in-office
