As a Registered Nurse in the ER, you will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while working with a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to an unparalleled patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assesses patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management, including follow-up after interventions.
• Performs procedures, monitoring, and documents care in the patient medical record in a timely manner.
• Responds promptly to patient requests and anticipates their needs proactively.
• Educates patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures.
• Prepares patients and families for future self-management and non-medicinal follow-up measures.

Required Qualifications

• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalent (as an instructor or via Associate/Bachelor’s Degree) must be obtained within 90 days
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or equivalent instructor certification must be obtained within 30 days
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course, PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days
• One year of previous ER RN experience required
