Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic Investment Analyst to join our unique investment and services boutique – the leader in setting up and managing single-family offices. In this role you will research potential investments, prepare detailed investment recommendations, conduct comprehensive due diligence, and support strategic decision-making for our families’ customized portfolios. A significant amount of writing – including investment memos and PowerPoint presentations – is a critical component.
A strong candidate will be dynamic and curious with up to 3 years of relevant experience, ready to take initiative in sourcing new investments and independently assessing opportunity sets. You will play a critical part in delivering world-class service to our families while supporting the CEO and CIO on strategic planning and key initiatives. Excellent financial analysis, Excel modeling, and strong communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Financial Due Diligence – Conduct comprehensive financial analyses, including review of statements, valuation, fund strategy diligence, and modeling in Excel.
- Operational Due Diligence – Evaluate management capabilities, operational efficiencies, and risk management practices of investment targets.
- Legal Due Diligence – Collaborate with legal counsel to review contracts, regulatory compliance, loan documents, and other legal paperwork.
- Investment Research – Identify and analyze potential opportunities across asset classes, industries, and geographies to support the investment team.
- Portfolio Management – Assist in constructing and monitoring portfolios, including updating proprietary risk analytics and market forecasts.
- Excel Modeling – Develop and maintain complex financial models to assess investment opportunities and risk-return profiles.
- Reporting and Documentation – Prepare detailed investment memos, independent research reports, and presentations for senior management.
- Communication and Collaboration – Liaise with internal stakeholders and external advisors to ensure alignment and support for investment transactions.
- Continuous Learning – Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in the industry.
- Ad Hoc Projects – Undertake special projects as assigned, often culminating in a comprehensive presentation for family office stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree from a reputable university with top academic performance.
- Relevant internships and up to 3 years of experience in financial services, such as investment banking, private equity, or family office roles.
- Strong financial analysis skills with proficiency in Excel modeling and valuation techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks governing investments.
- CFA, CPA, or other relevant certifications/licenses.
