Sales Representative Bakery/Food Ingredients Western U.S. Remote

Position Overview

We are seeking Bakery/Food Sales Representative - Bakery Ingredients to join our team. In this role, you will resolve customer questions and offer solutions to drive company revenue. This opportunity can be based anywhere in the Western U.S. and requires up to 50% travel, with Phoenix and Las Vegas serving as ideal bases for covering West and Northwest territories.

Key Responsibilities

• Present and sell company products and services to new and existing instore bakery (ISB), Foodservice, and Manufacturer customers.
• Prospect and contact potential customers.
• Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline.
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
• Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of the latest developments.
• Create sales material to present to customers.
• Develop customer-specific products and programs.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or related fields.
• Minimum of 2 years of sales experience.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms.
• Ability to build rapport with clients.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Deadline and detail-oriented.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years bakery plant retail or commissary experience desirable.
• Undergraduate degree preferred but not required.

Benefits & Perks

• Exceptional Compensation: Base salary of $80K to $85K DOE plus bonus uncapped, estimated to be up to 20% of base in year one.
