Position Overview

As a Retail Sales Associate (Part Time), you will provide exceptional service to pet parents while upholding our commitment to pet care and store excellence. You’ll engage with customers in person, over the phone, and online—helping create meaningful experiences for pets and their families.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a positive pet parent experience in-store, over the phone, and online.
• Greet pet parents and answer their questions throughout the store.
• Prepare online orders for in-store pick-up and ensure a smooth experience.
• Care for store-owned pets by feeding, watering, and cleaning their habitats.
• Maintain overall store cleanliness and uphold pet safety standards.
• Support the store with price changes, promotional pricing, and merchandising tasks.
• Recommend, inform, and sell merchandise, services, and live pets.
• Administer pet medications as directed by a veterinarian.
• Promote special events such as adoption weekends and charity events.
• Take immediate action for any sick or injured pet in the store.
• Assist in various store areas as needed and follow all company policies.

Required Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure.
