Key Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities: Direct and oversee warehouse and distribution operations to ensure efficient shipping and secure distribution of products.
  • Strategically manage operations in compliance with company policies and vision.
  • Initiate, coordinate, and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
  • Set, prepare, and present KPIs; conduct daily operations meetings; and deliver project presentations to senior management.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, transport companies, and Conectiv site management.
  • Assume full ownership of safety, quality, productivity, and customer experience in the department.
  • Engage in strategic planning, forecasting, performance assessments, and labor balancing, while managing daily/weekly/monthly staffing needs.
  • Produce reports and statistics to support operational decisions.
  • Recruit, select, orient, and motivate employees, and mentor Leads and Supervisors for career progression.
  • Develop and share best practices across shifts and networks.
  • Responsibilities: Demonstrate adaptability by adjusting work hours as necessary to meet business demands and customer requirements.
  • Schedule: First Shift: Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. until shift completion. Weekend work may be required based on business needs.
  • Supervisory Responsibility: Oversee interviewing, hiring, training, performance appraisal, and employee relations in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws.
  • Work Environment: Operate primarily on a warehouse floor while also using standard office equipment such as desktop computers, phones, and photocopiers.
  • Physical Demands: Perform tasks that require frequent standing, walking, manual handling (up to 30 pounds), and specific vision abilities, along with regular verbal communication.
  • Other Duties: Execute additional tasks as required; job responsibilities may change with or without notice.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: BA/BBS preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience Required: Minimum 5-year experience in a warehouse/shipping facility and 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage staff effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Expertise in warehouse management procedures and systems.
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
