Position Overview

Toast is driven by building the restaurant platform that helps restaurants adapt, take control, and focus on what they do best – building the businesses they love. As an SMB Territory Account Executive, you will join a transformative team, using a consultative approach to prospect new restaurant clients, build strong relationships, and sign up restaurateurs in your area. This field sales opportunity is based out of a home office with required travel (2 weeks per month within the Olympia, WA territory) for candidates in the Greater Seattle, WA area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate a list of prospective restaurants and manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to close (experience self-generating leads is preferred).
  • Conduct demos and develop a customized solution that best meets the prospect’s needs.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure that expectations set during the sales process are met during delivery.
  • Leverage Salesforce (our CRM) to manage all sales activities.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and effectively position Toast in the market.

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in a sourcing or closing sales role, restaurant operations, or a similar field.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills with the ability to sell and negotiate at all levels of decision-making.
  • Proven track record of success in meeting and exceeding goals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and collaborative team environment.
  • Self-motivated, creative, and flexible.
  • General technical proficiency with software applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM.
  • Sandler Sales Training.
