Job Description

Position Overview

TorchLight seeks an experienced Digital Marketing Consultant (Long-term contract) to help evaluate, optimize, and execute the marketing efforts of our hospitality client based in Baltimore, MD. This senior-level role will focus on assessing current strategies, analyzing paid media performance, and recommending improvements across digital channels to build a strong foundation for growth—including laying the groundwork for a future customer loyalty program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess current digital marketing strategy and execution across paid media, social, and email; provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop frameworks and processes to analyze paid social/media spend, performance, and results—enabling comparisons across venues and business units.
  • Review demand generation efforts across multiple offerings; recommend and execute optimizations to strengthen results.
  • Evaluate reporting processes and campaign performance; recommend and implement ROI-driven strategies.
  • Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align recommendations with broader business goals.
  • Establish the foundation to launch a customer loyalty program, including identifying key requirements, technology considerations, and engagement strategies.
  • Take a hands-on approach in campaign execution, not only advising but also implementing key initiatives as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years in digital marketing experience, with at least 3 years in hospitality, entertainment, events, or food & beverage.
  • Proven experience building or optimizing paid media reporting/analysis processes across multiple brands, venues, or business units.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate performance data into actionable insights.
  • Track record of developing and executing campaigns across paid media, social, and email.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to advise senior stakeholders and influence decision-making.
  • Familiarity with managing a multi-site/distributed business environment across regions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing multiple brands or working in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, or agency environments.
  • Bonus: Experience with loyalty program strategy, CRM, and customer journey mapping.
