As a Solutions Engineer at Notable, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving new market growth by aligning our groundbreaking healthcare technology solutions with the unique needs of healthcare providers, payors, and enterprises. You’ll help transform complex problems into innovative, AI-driven solutions that improve patient care at scale while directly impacting the company’s growth and long-term success. You will leverage your technical expertise and business acumen to understand customer needs, architect and configure high impact solution concepts leveraging Notable’s platform capabilities, deliver compelling product demonstrations, and support the acceleration of new business deals, in addition to contributing to team-wide success.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsibilities: Technical Sales Execution – Lead technical discovery conversations with prospects, aligning customer workflows and pain points to Notable’s platform capabilities.
- Own the delivery of tailored, impactful demos that resonate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, showcasing Notable’s ability to deliver measurable value and differentiating us from the competition.
- Project manage technical scoping and collaborate with implementation, delivery, and integrations teams to determine feasibility and implementation timelines.
- Act as a trusted advisor by translating complex business challenges into scalable solutions that shape organizational strategies for healthcare providers and payers.
- Develop creative solution concepts, address customer challenges, and clarify technical feasibility, including an understanding of existing enterprise systems.
- Responsibilities: Systems Development & Collaborative Leadership – Contribute to building reusable assets, playbooks, templates, and workflows to enhance pre-sales and post-sales efficiency and scalability.
- Create and continuously improve technical frameworks, demo environments, presentation decks, technical documentation, and customer-facing resources that highlight Notable’s platform.
- Support junior team members through insights, mentorship, and direct collaboration when navigating complex scenarios.
- Provide guidance on solution packaging for emerging workflows by collaborating with Sales, Product Marketing, and Engineering.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to relay customer feature requests, address deal-blocking gaps, and highlight critical business use cases.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree required
- Experience Required: At least 3-5 years in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or a similar Technical Pre-Sales role in a SaaS/PaaS environment
- Deep understanding of the healthcare industry, including experience with key healthcare IT systems such as EHRs (Epic, Cerner), Practice Management Systems, and healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR)
- Strong ability to align technical solutions with business priorities
- Exceptional demo skills with a proven track record of delivering impactful product demonstrations to executive-level audiences
- Ability to connect customer business problems with appropriate software solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
- Demonstrated capability to work independently and manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% of the time, including work from a major domestic airline hub city
Preferred Qualifications
- Bonus points for experience mentoring or collaborating with other technical professionals (e.g., Sales or Solutions Engineers) and a track record of creating or improving scalable tools, workflows, or templates for technical sales teams.

- Compensation: $123,552 - $188,760
- Location: San Mateo office (for Bay Area–based employees) with occasional headquarters travel for remote employees
