Position Overview

Are you passionate about the Medicare population and looking for an opportunity to work in sales with a direct impact on your income potential? We are seeking licensed, highly motivated, self-driven individuals to join our team as a Humana Medicare Sales Representative. In this field role you will have the opportunity to sell individual health plan products including Life, Annuity, Indemnity, Dental, Vision, Prescription and more while educating beneficiaries on our services.

Location: Indianapolis, IN
Schedule: 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate, maintain, and build relationships with Humana's customers, external business partners, and the local community through telephonic, virtual, and face-to-face interactions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma
  • Active Health & Life Insurance licenses
  • Ability to build community relationships, drive self-generated sales, and meet sales goals and metrics while working independently
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with laptop computers, cell phones, and mobile apps (including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • A passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
  • Requirements: Valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits
  • Must reside in the local territory

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree
  • Active community engagement through service, organizations, activities, and volunteerism
  • Qualifications: Bilingual with the ability to speak, read, and write in both English and Spanish without limitations or assistance
