Entry Level Civil/Environmental Engineer

D&B Engineers and Architects is hiring an Entry Level Civil/Environmental Engineer. Key Responsibilities

• Performing design, computations, and evaluations associated with water supply, distribution, and planning projects
• Writing reports and specifications, gathering information, drafting correspondence, and completing progress reports
• Client interaction and teamwork with other disciplines
• Coordinating permitting efforts with various local regulatory agencies, including local and State health departments and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC)

Required Qualifications

• At least a bachelor’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or a closely related discipline
• 0 – 3 years of design experience
• Willingness and ability to complete field work, which may involve climbing elevated structures, descending into excavations, entering confined spaces, and working in the vicinity of heavy construction equipment and vehicles
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office; AutoCAD is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Self-motivated and eager to learn
• FE/EIT and OSHA training is a plus, but not required

Compensation & Schedule

• Salary Range: $58,000 – $68,000
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 hour shift
