Operational Accounting Associate

Position Overview

Wells Fargo is seeking an Operational Accounting Associate in Global Payments & Liquidity (GPL) as part of Enterprise Functions. In this role, you will manage operational accounting activities including account reconcilement, support internal business groups to ensure compliance with account policies, and collaborate with peers and managers to resolve issues. This role offers a hybrid work schedule and requires adherence to specific compliance policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform operational accounting activities related to account reconcilement and maintenance
• Provide support to internal business groups, ensuring accounts meet policy requirements
• Prepare and review account reconciliations and certifications
• Perform customer account maintenance duties
• Evaluate operational accounting transactions and maintain appropriate controls
• Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Required Qualifications

• 6+ months of Operational Accounting experience, or equivalent experience through work, training, military service, or education

Preferred Qualifications

• Financial services industry experience
• Previous reconciliation experience
• Experience with banking products, especially credit cards
• WellsOne Commercial Card operational experience
• Experience with Service View, TSYS, and Hogan
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and applications
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
• Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
