Position Overview
Clinical Assistant I (REMOTE, USA) – Monday to Friday 8:00am-4:30pm. A Clinical Assistant I provides essential support across various departments by monitoring lab/reporting processes, troubleshooting Ambry-specific systems, and serving as the liaison between internal and external groups. The role involves coordinating internal cases, providing technical and clinical information via phone, email, and Ambry Message, and contributing to specialized workflows, projects, and process improvements.
Compensation:$23.00 - $24.00 per hour with eligibility for aShort-Term Incentivetargeting 3% of annual earnings; terms and conditions apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver precise technical and clinical expertise by providing clear, accurate, and timely information to clients and patients via phone, email, and Ambry Message with thorough follow-up.
- Manage and prioritize clinical inquiries as a critical point of contact for internal teams, ensuring prompt resolution and smooth workflow operations.
- Optimize workflow execution and operational efficiency by executing defined tasks with precision, identifying discrepancies, and escalating issues as needed.
- Monitor, audit, and report on cases through lab and reporting phases using personal and team worklists to maintain quality standards and timely completion.
- Oversee test management and ensure data integrity through review, documentation, and manual intervention where necessary.
- Engage in continuous learning to stay abreast of evolving product offerings, policies, protocols, and IT systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify process improvements and drive operational efficiencies across multiple product lines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Experience managing multi-tasking responsibilities with a high level of attention to detail.
- Proficiency in general computer use and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team setting.
- Flexibility in job assignments and adaptability to changes in workflow.
- Demonstrated skills in organization, time management and prioritization, problem-solving, and troubleshooting.
