Lead Reservoir Engineer
Job Description
Job Description
Our client is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Reservoir Engineer to join their innovative team. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the United States. The successful candidate will play a critical role in optimizing hydrocarbon recovery, managing reservoir performance, and contributing to the strategic development of oil and gas assets. You will be responsible for developing and implementing reservoir management strategies, conducting advanced reservoir simulations, and performing detailed economic evaluations to support project sanctioning and investment decisions. This role requires a deep understanding of reservoir physics, fluid flow in porous media, and various enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques. You will also mentor and guide a team of reservoir engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in reservoir characterization, performance monitoring, and forecasting production for complex fields. Strong analytical skills, coupled with expertise in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, CMG, Petrel RE) and data analysis tools, are essential. This role demands excellent communication and presentation skills, as you will be expected to effectively convey technical findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders. We are looking for a proactive, results-oriented individual who thrives in a remote setting and is passionate about driving value in the oil and gas industry. This position offers a competitive compensation package, including a generous salary and comprehensive benefits, commensurate with experience and expertise. Join our client's forward-thinking organization and make a significant impact on their global operations from the comfort of your own home.
