We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Transportation Bridge Engineer to join our Baltimore office. In this role, you will work on a multi-disciplinary team developing bridge and structural plans for transportation projects for MDOT, VDOT, and municipal localities.

Location: Baltimore office

Compensation: $72,000.00 - $97,000.00 per year

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the design and analysis of highway and transit-related bridges, culverts, and other transportation structures.
  • Prepare engineering calculations, reports, and plan sets.
  • Support senior engineers in developing construction documents and specifications.
  • Conduct fieldwork including bridge inspections, data collection, and site visits as needed.
  • Apply structural engineering principles and software tools to solve complex design challenges.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the organization to deliver high-quality projects.

Required Qualifications

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
  • 0-4 years of relevant experience required.
  • Desire relevant internship experience.
  • Must be able to work independently and in a design group setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • EIT/FE certification preferred.
  • NBIS inspection, a plus.
