Provide advanced nursing care in a dynamic 32-bed unit specializing in adult and older adult populations. This contract position offers the opportunity to work with trauma patients, manage acute medication therapies, and utilize specialized equipment within a reputable healthcare setting. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and older adult trauma patients.
• Administer and monitor acute medications including Heparin drips.
• Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5, ensuring personalized care.
• Utilize specialty equipment such as gait belts, geriatric chairs, and physical therapy devices.
• Use EPIC EMR systems (not RTO) to accurately document patient data.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient rehabilitation and recovery.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Registered Nurse license: with Medical-Surgical nursing expertise.
• Documented experience: and training in telemetry nursing are mandatory.
• BLS and ACLS certification: required.
• Prior experience or training: in Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation, or NICHE (Nurses Improving Care for Healthsystem Elders) is advantageous.
• Ability to work: 48-hour contracts; overtime compensation applies after 48 hours per week.

Schedule:

• 48-hour contract shifts as required.
• Overtime will be compensated only after 48 hours worked weekly.
