VIDEO EDITOR / SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT PRODUCER
Job Description
VIDEO EDITOR / SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT PRODUCER
Fullmer Consulting | Logan Fullmer Brand
Full-Time In-Office Alamo Heights, Texas $55,000 - 65,000/year
ABOUT THE OPERATION
Fullmer Consulting is the media and education arm behind Logan Fullmer —a San Antonio– based distressed real estate investor, host of the Dirty Deeds podcast, and educator in the curative title, probate, and tax-delinquent property space. Logan has built one of the most recognized voices in distressed real estate, with an audience that follows him across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and his podcast.
We are not a media agency. We are an in-house media operation built around one of the fastest-growing personal brands in real estate. We produce content at a volume most teams do not — multiple daily posts across 4 platforms, 7 days a week — plus a weekly podcast, paid ad campaigns, book funnels, live event promotion, and documentary-style business content.
This role is the production engine that keeps that machine moving.
THE ROLE
We are hiring a full-time, in-office Video Editor / Content Producer based in Alamo Heights, Texas. This person will be the primary in-house editor working directly under the Creative Director, Sheik, and alongside our Philippines-based remote editors. You will be the person who turns raw footage into finished, scroll-stopping content — every day, on a deadline, at volume.
This is not a slow-paced corporate media job. We produce short-form social media content, podcasts and interviews, documentary-style business content, real estate storytelling, operator and lifestyle content, paid ad creative, and promotional campaigns — all in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment.
If you want predictable, low-volume work where you spend a week on a single edit, this is not the job. If you want to develop into a high-output operator who can ship great work fast and grow alongside a brand that is scaling aggressively, keep reading.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Edit high-volume short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts
- Cut full-length and clipped versions of the Dirty Deeds podcast, including cold opens, viral pull-outs, and YouTube long-form
- Organize, tag, and manage large volumes of raw footage across Dropbox, local storage, and shared drives
- Build engaging pacing, captions, graphics, hooks, transitions, sound design, and motion elements
- Execute on editor briefs provided by the Creative Director — shot-by-shot breakdowns, suggested hooks, b-roll callouts
- Maintain consistent brand visual identity across all formats and platforms
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities, fast-turn requests, and production schedule shifts
- Collaborate with Sheik (Creative Director) and the Philippines-based remote editor on workflow handoffs and quality control
- Flag opportunities, suggest improvements, and bring your own creative point of view — we want editors who think, not button-pushers
IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Deep understanding of modern social media editing — what holds attention in the first 1.5 seconds, what makes someone stop scrolling, what kills retention
- Strong storytelling and pacing instincts — you can feel when an edit drags before the data tells you
- Can work quickly without constant hand-holding — you take a brief and run with it
- Highly organized and adaptable under pressure — you can juggle 6+ active edits without losing track
- Thrives in fast-moving entrepreneurial environments — startup energy, not agency energy
- Comfortable with feedback and iteration — we ship, we test, we revise, we move on
- Bonus: some familiarity with real estate, business, or finance content (you don't need to be an expert, but it helps to speak the language)
SOFTWARE & SKILLS
Required:
- Adobe Premiere Pro — primary editing platform, expert level
- CapCut — mobile and desktop, for fast-turn social formats
- Photoshop or Canva — for thumbnails, graphics, and carousel design
- Audio cleanup workflows — noise reduction, leveling, music balancing
- Captioning workflows — auto-caption tools, manual cleanup, brand styling
- Media management — file naming conventions, project organization, asset archiving
- Basic understanding of platform-specific aspect ratios, safe zones, and algorithm preference
Preferred (or willingness to learn fast):
- After Effects — motion graphics, lower thirds, animated text treatments
- DaVinci Resolve — color grading for premium long-form content
- Frame.io or similar review platforms
- Ai tools such as Heygen, Higgsfield, and Elevenlabs
ATTITUDE, APTITUDE & BANDWIDTH
We care heavily about three things:
ATTITUDE: positive, solution-oriented, no-drama mentality. We don't have time for ego, complaints, or politics. If something isn't working, you raise it directly and we fix it.
APTITUDE: ability to learn quickly and improve fast. Tools change. Formats change. Algorithms change. We need someone who treats every new challenge as a chance to level up, not a reason to push back.
BANDWIDTH: ability to handle a large volume of moving pieces without becoming overwhelmed. This is the single biggest predictor of success in this role. We will give you a lot. You need to be the kind of operator who can absorb it, organize it, and ship.
We can teach workflows. We can teach our brand voice. We can teach the algorithm. We cannot teach hunger, urgency, ownership, or work ethic.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
First 30 days: You're fully onboarded into our Premiere project structure, Dropbox folder system, brand style guide, and editor brief workflow. You're cutting at least 6-10 reels per day at brand quality. You're building familiarity with Logan's voice, recurring hooks, and visual identity.
First 60 days: You're cutting at full daily volume (3–6 short-form pieces per day plus assisting on podcast and long-form). You're flagging hook opportunities from raw footage. You're trusted to ship without heavy revision cycles.
First 90 days: You're a known quantity on the team. You're proactively suggesting format tests, identifying viral moments, and helping shape the visual direction of the brand. Your edits consistently outperform the baseline on retention and engagement.
12 months in: You've grown with the operation. There's a clear pathway to lead editor, senior producer, or specialized roles (long-form lead, ads lead, podcast lead) as the team continues to scale.
