URGENT!!! West Suburbs Registered Nurse (RN) Home Health. $130 SOC/ $70 Regular Vis

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team and provide exceptional care to our patients on the South Side/South Suburbs of Chicago. The ideal candidate is a skilled, responsible professional committed to delivering high-quality nursing care while educating patients and their families on preventive health practices and wellness. Compensation: $70.00 per hour Job Types: Full-time, PRN

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' conditions, assess needs, and provide personalized care and advice.
• Observe and interpret patients' symptoms, reporting changes to physicians as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.
• Perform routine procedures (e.g., blood pressure checks, injections) and maintain accurate patient records.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic environment by adhering to sanitation and decontamination protocols.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide immediate care.
• Assist surgeons with post-operative procedures and ensure proper care during the recovery process.
• Supervise and mentor LPNs and nursing assistants to maintain high care standards.
• Foster a supportive, compassionate atmosphere for patients and their families.
• Stay current with best practices by participating in educational workshops and conferences.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Strong knowledge of nursing care techniques, methods, and procedures.
• Proficiency in emergency care and crisis management.
• Deep understanding of health and safety protocols (e.g., sanitation, infection control).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Empathy, patience, and effective problem-solving skills.
• Licensure: Valid RN license for the state of Illinois.
• BLS Certification (Required).

Preferred Qualifications

• Language Skills: Bilingual in Spanish or Chinese is a plus.
• Experience in Home Health Nursing: 1 year (Preferred).
• RN & LPN experience (Preferred).
