Job Description

Position Overview

Wurth Louis and Company is seeking a dedicated sales professional responsible for on-site customer visits, developing an annual territory business plan, and building strong relationships with both new and existing customers. The role requires spending 95% of the time in the field, effective use of SalesForce CRM, and prompt, courteous customer service. Agencies/Recruiters are directed not to contact current employees directly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site customer visits with new and existing customers to develop sales of Wurth Louis and Company products.
  • Develop and aggressively work an annual territory business plan.
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and repeat customers.
  • Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with inquiries and/or sales promptly, courteously, and effectively.
  • Coordinate with customers and inside sales to receive and process all inquiries and orders in a timely manner.
  • Identify customer product needs and coordinate products and services to address these needs.
  • Work with customers and inside sales to develop price quotations.
  • Cross-sell or up-sell products to increase customer purchase amounts.
  • Report back to management through all required channels.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to customer inquiries and/or complaints.
  • Utilize SalesForce CRM program effectively.
  • Travel within the sales territory to meet prospects and customers.
  • Conduct daily calls and face-to-face meetings with customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: College Degree and equivalent sales experience required
  • Requirements: Reliable transportation, satisfactory MVR, and proof of insurance required; professional sales experience is preferred
  • Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, customer service oriented, an excellent communicator, and organized

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to climb, bend, stoop, kneel, twist, reach, sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, perform repetitive motions, and maintain adequate visual, auditory, and manual dexterity; this is a safety sensitive position

Preferred Qualifications

  • Spanish speaker, not required but preferred
  • Qualifications: Woodworking experience and/or industry knowledge preferred
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook preferred
