Position Overview

At Motorola Solutions, our people are the driving force behind our mission to keep communities safer. As a Cybersecurity Sales Executive in the US West Region, you will leverage our leading MSI Cybersecurity business line to deliver innovative security solutions. You will work closely with field account teams and act as the subject matter expert, presenting to Director and C-level executives. Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 USD.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales quota and drive market penetration in the West Region
  • Provide visibility and guidance on regional performance, working closely with the field account team
  • Understand client business goals and define tailored security solutions to meet their requirements
  • Prepare and demonstrate product capabilities, showcasing key features, benefits, and use cases
  • Target new logos and generate leads, while representing MSI at industry events and conferences
  • Effectively communicate requirements and product enhancements between prospects, clients, and internal teams
  • Manage travel commitments, with expected travel over 50% of the time

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of software/cybersecurity/LMR sales experience OR 5+ years in sales
  • Strong understanding of Cybersecurity, Cloud, and SaaS technologies, including products like Firewall, EDR, SIEM, Zero Trust, and more
  • Proven experience in target account selling, solution selling, and consultative sales techniques
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to various audiences and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Expertise in leveraging sales forecasting tools (e.g., SFDC) and managing deliverables within budget and timelines
