Position Overview
Arthrex, Inc. – a global medical device leader – is seeking an Area Manager–Client Relationship Optimization National Accounts for the East Coast. This remote role focuses on managing strategic contracting and developing strong, long‐term relationships with key accounts to drive sales growth across multiple product groups. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with Legal, Finance, Sales, and other functions to design and implement effective sales and finance plans, while traveling over 50% of the time (candidates must reside near a major metropolitan airport). The position offers a targeted cash Compensation package of $175,000–$225,000 (Base and Bonus) with additional performance incentives and a robust benefits program.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary internal contact for select accounts, maintaining and expanding high-volume relationships.
- Develop, implement, and monitor sales and finance plans (contracts) in collaboration with Legal, Finance, Sales, and Business Development teams.
- Analyze account sales history, surgeon customer profiles, and market opportunities to formulate strategic approaches.
- Coordinate with regional management, agencies, and sales representatives to standardize and deliver training programs.
- Utilize CRMA sales evaluation software to generate market expertise and periodic reports for leadership.
- Attend management, regional, and industry meetings—presenting new products, procedures, and programs as required.
- Evaluate and review contract details with Legal and other departments to ensure alignment with company strategy.
- Travel over 50% of the time to fulfill role responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required; preferably in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years’ account management or orthopedic contracting experience in the medical device field.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver executive (“C” level) presentations with confidence.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiating, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Strong relationship-building, analytical, and mathematical skills, with effective communication in both written and oral forms.
