Supply Chain Coordinator

Position Overview

We are looking for a talented Supply Chain Coordinator – Level II to join our team specializing in Supply Chain Planning for our Cummins Inc. facility. In this role, you will have the opportunity to streamline inventory management, align supply and demand, ensure quality compliance, and support daily aftermarket operations. Location: Fort Worth, TX. Compensation: Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including your qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize Inventory Levels by employing statistical analysis and validated planning parameters to reduce excess stock and prevent shortages.
• Align Supply and Demand by coordinating the supply plan with the demand plan to drive stability and efficiency.
• Enhance Health, Safety, and Environmental Standards by reporting work-related incidents and complying with HSE protocols.
• Ensure Quality Compliance through performing quality checks on planning parameters and adhering to standard work procedures.
• Conduct Supply and Demand Analysis by identifying concerns for the next 12 months to enable proactive planning adjustments.
• Improve Planning Parameters by running simulations and analyzing the impact of parameter changes on key performance indicators.
• Monitor and Adjust Plans by tracking abnormal demand and stock levels and making necessary corrections.
• Foster Team Communication and Development through effective internal communication and participation in continuous improvement projects.
• Own and manage the shared supply chain inbox, ensuring timely cleanup, organization, and appropriate redirection of communications.
• Escalate issues to the appropriate stakeholders when needed.
• Respond to quote requests by gathering required information, confirming pricing, and providing accurate updates.
• Ensure pricing is consistently updated and aligned between systems.
• Provide backup support to other Supply Chain Coordinators during high-volume periods, staff absences, or special projects.
• Collaborate with the planning team, purchasing, and other internal departments to ensure seamless operations.

• Inventory Management and Optimization Skills: Proficiency in applying analytics to optimize inventory levels and refine planning parameters.
• Education: High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education, or equivalent experience.
• Experience Required: Some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, logistics, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry, formulas, and spreadsheet maintenance.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a demanding environment.
