Position Overview
As the Director, Enterprise Digital Marketing at Jostens, you are a strategic and data-driven leader responsible for driving enterprise-wide growth across all digital channels. You will oversee email, text, paid media, social, and search strategies to create an innovative and integrated digital presence that engages customers at every touchpoint.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and innovate across key digital channels by overseeing strategies for email, text, paid social, organic social, influencer marketing, SEO, SEM, and tagging to ensure integrated, high-performing campaigns.
- Own enterprise-wide email marketing by driving strategy and execution for both B2B and B2C, integrating data pipelines (Snowflake), automating workflows, and optimizing accessibility and engagement.
- Scale SMS marketing strategy by leading subscriber growth initiatives, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Drive paid social media performance by collaborating with agencies and internal teams to optimize ad spend, refine audience targeting, and align creative with campaign goals.
- Elevate search marketing by creating high-ROI SEO and SEM strategies in partnership with UX and media agencies, while continuously monitoring performance and the competitor landscape.
- Expand brand reach through influencer and ambassador programs by building social strategies that connect with parents and students through UGC, school partners, and localized brand ambassadors.
- Oversee tagging and data integrity by ensuring proper web tagging and pixel placement in collaboration with Analytics, IT, and UX for data-driven decision-making.
- Manage people and budgets by leading 2–3 direct reports, overseeing channel budgets, and forecasting spend in alignment with enterprise goals.
- Report on performance by presenting data-backed recommendations to executive leaders and stakeholders across the business.
- Travel as needed with a typical/expected overnight travel of up to 5%.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
- 10+ years in digital marketing or analytics roles, with proven success in retail or consumer brand environments.
- Deep expertise in email, paid and organic social, SEO/SEM, text, and influencer marketing, with a track record of improving performance across the funnel.
- Experience applying advanced analytics, machine learning, or customer insights to optimize marketing impact.
- Strong cross-functional leadership with excellent collaboration skills across departments including IT, Marketing, Analytics, and Legal.
- Skilled in transforming complex data into actionable business strategies with strong storytelling and executive presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, along with experience using marketing tools, CRMs, ad platforms, tagging, and analytics systems.
