This role serves as the first point of contact for financial center clients, helping uncover personal banking needs for both individual and small business clients, offering appropriate solutions, and connecting clients to specialists. The position focuses on deepening client relationships through platform services, supporting clients with self-service or transactional activities, and providing exceptional client care. It also involves proactively connecting with clients through outbound calls and maintaining consistent follow-up routines.
Key Responsibilities
- Partners with teams to provide financial center clients with both consumer and small business solutions, services, and strategies to address their personal banking needs and unique life priorities.
- Assists, educates, and trains clients on conducting simple transactions through self-service technologies.
- Leverages available resources, technologies, and processes to optimize the client experience and deliver operational excellence and accuracy.
- Adheres to established processes, laws, and guidelines in performing day-to-day activities, such as opening accounts, account maintenance, and Digital Assisted Shopping.
- Manages client interactions by taking the best course of action for the bank and its clients while complying with all regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of demonstrated sales experience in a relationship-oriented and client-centric environment.
- Alternatively, prior role experience at Bank of America as a Relationship Manager (RM), Advisor Development Program (ADP) RM, Credit Solutions Advisor (CSA I) or Relationship Manager Business Owner Specialist (RMBOS) for a minimum of six months.
- Enthusiastic, highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and an intense focus on results in the best interest of the client.
- Ability to collaborate effectively to get things done and nurture strong relationships.
- Passion, commitment, and drive to deliver an experience that improves clients' financial lives.
- Confidence in identifying solutions to support new and existing clients based on their needs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable engaging with all clients both in-person and by phone.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new information and technology platforms, handle ambiguity, and adjust to changing circumstances.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to effectively meet client needs.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to organize, prioritize, and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must be a commissioned notary or be able to successfully obtain a notary commission in the state of employment within a few months of the start date (timeframe varies by location due to differing state laws).
- Flexibility to work weekends and/or extended hours as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, or a related field.
- Experience working in a financial center with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
- Retail and/or sales experience within a salary plus incentive environment.
- Experience working in an environment with both individual and team goals that were routinely met or exceeded.
- Proficiency with financial information, spreadsheets, and related financial skills.
- Knowledge of banking products and services.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft applications and previous experience utilizing laptop technology.
