Marketing Communications Specialist - Hybrid
Job Description
Position Overview
As Diagnostic Solutions Marketing Communications Specialist, you will assist with the management of go-to-market needs including content creation, digital marketing, event support, and eLearning. This role will require demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to drive long-term strategies by proactively engaging product experts, industry leaders, outside sales organizations and cross-functional teams within BD.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists in creating and managing the marketing communications integrated marketing plan and tactical calendar.
- Works with Tradeshow/Events Manager to develop and coordinate communications to support industry meetings and trade show exhibits.
- Assists in copywriting, proofreading all creative communications.
- Assists the Medical, Legal and Regulatory review process for all Diagnostic Solutions content, including supporting digital content manager with short lead time turn-around where necessary.
- Assists with the launch of digital marketing campaigns
- Assists with claims management, creating a repository of approved claims and materials, maintaining process to ensure all claims are reviewed and approved prior to expiration.
- Assists with the development of the customer eLearning system launch and content plan to support the US Diagnostic Solutions omnichannel strategy.
- Collaborates with the Sales and other internal groups to develop a library of promotional and communication templates for teams to deploy.
- Assists in coordination of print production, print materials portal, digital asset management system and brand standards updates.
- Stay current on new and cutting-edge communication technologies and channels. Develop and maintain a pool of reliable, highly skilled creative services agencies
- Ensure compliance with BD Quality and Regulatory requirements and adherence to MarCom standards and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year marketing or communications experience.
- Minimum bachelor's degree.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, exhibiting a high degree of drive and energy and the ability to consistently produce results
- Innovative and creative thinker and problem solver who can manage the details without losing sight of the goal
- Hybrid work arrangement (3 days in office per week) at either the Sparks, MD, Franklin Lakes, NJ, or Vernon Hills, IL offices.
- Ability to travel 10%
Preferred Qualifications
- Digital Marketing (email marketing, paid search, social media, advertising) experience preferred
- Experience with e-learning systems in healthcare industry a plus.

Compensation
Salary Range Information: $78,000.00 - $128,700.00 USD Annual
