As a Digital Marketing Strategist, you will play a key role in supporting Room & Board's digital strategy of increasing brand awareness, driving campaign performance, and fueling new customer growth through our online marketing ecosystem. Reporting to the Director of Digital Marketing, you will assist in executing in-house digital channels and work closely with external partners to provide support and guidance for externally managed digital channels. You will use data analysis and reporting to guide recommendations that drive new customers and sales through our multi-channel digital marketing campaigns — all while contributing to a team culture that's welcoming and passionate about the work we do.
This hands-on, technical role requires proficiency in manipulating large data sets, detailed performance analysis, and the ability to communicate complex insights to diverse stakeholders, many of whom are not digital experts. The role is focused on managing ongoing campaign execution, reporting, and optimization across multiple platforms.

Note: This role is hybrid with 3 days in the office. We are not currently considering remote applicants for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and optimize paid Pinterest campaigns to meet KPIs and align with business objectives.
- Explore and grow campaigns on LinkedIn, Reddit, and other emerging platforms to expand reach across residential and commercial audiences.
- Manage day-to-day communication and collaboration with external agency partners to ensure campaigns consistently reflect Room & Board’s brand standards and values.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Insights and Business Intelligence teams to measure performance and enhance data visibility.
- Manipulate and interpret large, complex data sets in Excel to identify trends and derive actionable insights.
- Partner with creative, content, and user experience teams to inform content strategy and creative development using data-backed insights.
- Prepare and deliver monthly performance reports to the brand team and assist in quarterly presentations to senior leadership.
- Stay ahead of evolving digital trends, platforms, and tools by proactively recommending new tactics and innovations.
- Assist with broader campaign planning and post-campaign evaluations in partnership with the Campaign Coordinator and Director of Digital Marketing.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on digital marketing experience across multiple platforms, including Paid Search/Shopping, Pinterest, Meta, and Programmatic Display.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Strong technical skills with a demonstrated ability to manipulate and analyze large data sets (especially in Excel).
- Proficiency with digital analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or Power BI.
- Experience managing or supporting Pinterest Ads Manager is a strong plus.
- Comfort and conceptual understanding of platforms you may not have executed on directly (e.g., LinkedIn, Reddit, Pinterest, Meta).
- E-commerce marketing experience preferred, but B2B experience will also be considered.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a self-directed and agile approach.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex, technical concepts for non-expert stakeholders.
- High attention to detail to ensure ads and content align with brand standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.
