Key Responsibilities
- Own and grow assigned customer accounts by developing strategic relationships, identifying opportunities, and driving revenue expansion.
- Utilize commercial systems and tools (e.g., CRM, Tableau, Key Account Plans) to effectively manage the territory and support sales execution.
- Prepare and deliver regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports for management review.
- Analyze sales trends and market data to provide insights and make data-driven recommendations.
- Achieve assigned revenue goals and sales performance KPIs through disciplined pipeline and opportunity management.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to meet and exceed sales objectives.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with customers to establish profitable, long-term partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Resolve escalated customer issues to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records of contacts, accounts, leads, and opportunities.
- Own and respond to inbound leads generated from trade shows, marketing campaigns, and web inquiries.
- Manage customer and internal scheduling for Alkegen installations, ensuring clear communication among stakeholders.
- Coordinate and track sample requests, shipments, and results, following up to secure feedback.
- Identify and research potential new customers across target industries using online tools and directories.
- Ensure seamless handoffs between marketing, Inside Sales, and the broader sales teams by maintaining detailed CRM records.
- Collaborate closely with Inside Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service teams to ensure a consistent customer experience.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and training sessions to stay updated on products, strategy, and objectives.
- Share insights from lead interactions to support broader marketing and sales efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred in engineering, business, or marketing.
- 2 - 4 years of sales and sales support experience.
- Exceptional communication skills – both oral and written – with a positive and energetic phone presence.
- Highly motivated with a strong customer focus and ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient computer skills, including CRM, Microsoft Office Suite, and Teams.
- Strong negotiation skills, relationship building, and product/market knowledge.
- Reliable, trustworthy, detail-oriented, and capable of effective decision-making.
Compensation
- Salary Range: $68–$70k annually
