Job Description

Position Overview

Join Mayo Clinic—recognized as a top-ranked healthcare provider by U.S. News & World Report—as our Procure to Pay Operations Coordinator. In this role, you will work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams to drive supply chain financial and operational improvements, including expense reduction initiatives, vendor analysis, and process optimization. The role is full time (Monday – Friday, 8 am to 5 pm) and offers Compensation: $74,859.20 - $110,052.80 per year.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary work groups and projects to enhance supply chain operations.
  • Initiate and facilitate activities to improve financial and operational analyses, supply chain, and product management processes.
  • Partner with departments and Product Management Committees to review existing supply expenses and identify reduction opportunities.
  • Work with Supply Chain Management teams and customers to implement identified expense reduction initiatives.
  • Provide support to the Sourcing and Contracting Team through data collection, vendor analysis, and contract compliance oversight.
  • Conduct research, benchmarking, and audits to ensure information accuracy and to implement process improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in health care, supply chain logistics, finance, business, or nursing; OR Master's degree with a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience.
  • Proven skills in computer applications, communication, problem solving, continuous improvement, and effective teamwork.
  • Fluency in Spanish is required for managing international communications and overseeing foreign financial processes.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles with strong time management and organization skills.
  • Experience in vendor management, with demonstrated analytical and project management capabilities.
  • Familiarity with clinical, financial, and administrative systems/processes is a plus.
