Sr. Data Analyst

Position Overview

At Serve Robotics, we're reimagining how things move in cities with our personable sidewalk robot designed to take deliveries away from congested streets and benefit local businesses. Join our growing Analytics team as we pioneer the future of autonomous last-mile delivery. In this role, you’ll work cross-functionally to build reporting, uncover insights, and guide decision-making as we scale while turning messy data into clear, actionable recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dashboards and models to improve visibility into operational efficiency, delivery performance, and topline metrics.
• Partner with operations, engineering, and product teams to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
• Source and transform data creatively, even when systems are incomplete. Propose solutions and tools to streamline workflows.
• Act as an analytics thought partner by translating complex findings into simple, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Help define and track key business metrics, enabling data-driven strategy across teams.

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS in a quantitative field preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in an analytics role (startup or high-growth environment strongly preferred).
• Proficiency in SQL (4+ years) and comfort with scripting in Python or R.
• Strong data visualization skills using BI tools (we use ThoughtSpot and Looker Studio).
• Experience with A/B testing, experimental design, and inferential statistics.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Comfort leveraging AI/GenAI tools to enhance analytics workflows.
• Knowledge of geospatial analysis techniques is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, marketplaces, or operations-heavy industries.
• Self-starter with entrepreneurial drive; able to prioritize in ambiguity.
• Experience with dbt and modern data governance practices.
• Proven ability to thrive on scrappy, fast-moving teams.
