Job Description
Position Overview
Manage all Office of Research Finance business functions, including accounting and systematic compliance functions. This role provides internal and external stakeholders – including Principal Investigators and sponsor organizations such as the NIH – with timely and accurate accounting and financial reporting services in compliance with federal and external sponsor regulations. The successful candidate will also provide leadership in all areas affecting Research Finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all Office of Research Finance business functions.
- Provide timely, accurate accounting and financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal and external sponsor regulations and requirements.
- Provide effective leadership in all areas affecting Research Finance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Eight years of central institutional research administration experience; five years of direct federal grants regulation experience.
- Three years of supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA designation.
- Experience in a Research Enterprise within a Healthcare Provider environment funded in part by Federal awards.
Compensation
- Compensation Range: $118,174.00 - $177,262.00 per year
- Based on full-time employment (2080 hours per year); offers are determined by factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise.
