Job Description

Position Overview

This remote position is located in Location: Napa and Fairfield and covers a 50-70 mile territory. It promotes and sells company products through direct contact with assigned customer accounts, identifies prospective customers, and compiles information on competitive products. The role requires a sustained record of sales achievement along with complete knowledge of the organization’s policies, products, and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell, under general supervision, products, services, and value adds by visiting and interacting with established and prospective customers to achieve individual and corporate sales and profit goals.
  • Ensure growth of sales by identifying and developing new prospects and contributing to corporate sales goals.
  • Manage customer relations by responding to customer needs consistent with company standards, culture, and business practices.
  • Consult with the manager to identify and implement solutions to problems.
  • Demonstrate teamwork to achieve both team and corporate sales goals.
  • Maintain sales records and generate relevant market/sales reports for management as needed.
  • Monitor expenditures to ensure compliance with approved budgetary constraints and take corrective action as necessary.
  • Develop a personal business plan under general management supervision to establish annual goals.
  • Foster a unified culture in the branch and throughout the company to ensure unity of purpose and mission fulfillment.
  • Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience Required: 2+ years outside B2B sales experience selling commodities or industrial services.
  • Requirements: Valid Driver's License.
  • Qualifications: Broad knowledge of procurement processes and sales theory/skills.
  • Education: Associates Degree or the equivalent.
  • Must be energetic, professional, and reliable.
