Position Overview

Pacific Technical Resources, LLC, an IT/Engineering Recruitment firm, is seeking an experienced Space Ground to Satellite Communication Systems Engineer for a direct hire role with a Billion Dollar Space Leader. This role is REMOTE, with occasional onsite requirements in Scottsdale, Arizona. Compensation: $145,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, with 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
  • Ground system design or scheduling knowledge.
  • Tracking mission design knowledge.
  • Satellite communications and ground to satellite communication knowledge.
  • System/Software design for cloud-based microservice architecture.
  • Ground pre-planned or ad-hoc scheduling and situational awareness of satellites and payloads.
  • Experience with tracking IR payload or ground mission data transport, handling, and analysis.
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using Cameo or Magic Draw.
  • Experience with Simulation and Modeling (e.g., STK).
  • US Citizen and ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
