Position Overview
Medical Science Liaison (Neurology) - Great Lakes. In this role you will engage in scientific exchange with expert healthcare professionals as part of the Medical Affairs team, participate in diverse project assignments, and communicate complex scientific concepts clearly to multiple audiences. You will also contribute to key department functions such as medical information and inter-departmental initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in scientific exchange with expert healthcare professionals.
- Participate in Medical Affairs project assignments.
- Communicate scientific concepts effectively to diverse audiences (verbally, graphically, and in writing).
- Contribute to key department functions and inter-departmental initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorial degree required (PhD, PharmD, MD).
- Prior experience in a neurology-related field. Preference given to those with pharmaceutical industry experience in multiple sclerosis; immunology experience is a plus.
- Previous experience (2+ years) as an MSL or in Medical Affairs strongly preferred.
- Experience in clinical research and/or direct patient care is ideal.
- Exemplary written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Adept at building and maintaining professional relationships.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt within a dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel (75%) with easy access to a major metropolitan airport.
- Bachelor’s degree is also required.
