Position Overview

Account Executive, II, MSP – Account Executive – IT (MSP) for a managed IT service provider. This position is ideal for an experienced sales professional with a hunter mentality who is eager to drive growth in a dynamic IT environment. You will work alongside the VP of Sales, selling best-in-class IT solutions that include Infrastructure, Cloud, IT Managed Services and Outsourcing. The role focuses on acquiring 4 new logos per month for services such as Help Desk support, Azure Infrastructure, Automation (RPA) and Microsoft Business Applications. UNCAPPED COMMISSION OPPORTUNITY plus base pay and a comprehensive benefits package offer significant earning potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, track, and close sales leads through prospecting, leveraging your network, and building strategic partnerships.
  • Identify prospect requirements including technical infrastructure and configuration needs, and consistently seek new customers and projects.
  • Collaborate with technical staff to generate comprehensive proposals for prospective clients.
  • Present proposals confidently to engage client interest in managed IT services.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop seminars, marketing materials, targeted campaigns, and generate qualified leads.
  • Effectively qualify opportunities to define the scope of work and manage the pipeline independently through to close.
  • Leverage networking events, chambers, and groups to promote the brand and establish long-lasting relationships.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience selling to mid-market and enterprise customers in an account executive or sales role, preferably within the technology/MSP space.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify client pain points and provide tailored IT solutions.
  • Skilled at prospecting, identifying targets and booking exploratory meetings.
  • Proven track record in new business development and consistently achieving sales targets.
  • Willingness and ability to travel for client-facing meetings.
