The Controls Engineer will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and executing electrical and automation projects to ensure that automated systems meet production needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, coordinate, and execute electrical and automation projects for our client in Manufacturing
- Lead electrical upgrades and new installations
- Provide technical support to facilities (onsite and remote)
- Identify automation opportunities (robotics, data collection, energy savings, efficiency, safety)
- Ensure automated systems meet production needs
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Plant Services, Maintenance, and Production teams
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing
- Allen Bradley PLC experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with automation systems
- Knowledge of electrical engineering principles
