Position Overview

EY is seeking a Data Architecture Manager to lead the design, development, and governance of data architectures within the Life Sciences sector (Clinical (R&D) and Commercial). Based in Anywhere in Country, you will play a pivotal role in delivering scalable, secure data solutions that align with business strategies while driving innovation and continuous process improvement. Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Business Leads, Data Scientists, Analysts, and IT) to define data requirements and design innovative solutions.
  • Organize and lead workshops and design sessions with stakeholders to capture requirements and align on data architecture strategies.
  • Design and build scalable solutions on AWS, Databricks, and Snowflake that unify, enrich, and derive insights from varied data sources.
  • Conduct data design reviews, blueprint data extraction and transformation processes, and ensure compliance with best practices.
  • Manage and deliver multiple projects with a focus on quality, risk management, and continuous process improvement by recommending innovative solutions.
  • Interact with senior client technology leaders to understand business goals and translate them into robust technical solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10-15 years of full-time experience in Data Architecture/Engineering.
  • 2-4 years of experience in managing technical teams.
  • At least 2 years working in life sciences (Clinical (R&D) and Commercial) to develop industry-specific solutions.
  • Proven ability to deliver AI and data solutions throughout the entire lifecycle, from analysis and design to testing and deployment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proactive, flexible, and team-oriented attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in building and managing relationships, demonstrating commercial astuteness and client trust.
  • Strong skills in communicating with impact and digital fluency.
  • Prior experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks.
  • Proven leadership in mentoring and influencing teams while fostering an inclusive environment.
  • A passion for innovation and applying emerging technologies to solve real-world challenges.
