Job Description

Position Overview

As a Human Resources Business Analyst (Power BI, Infor), you will support human resource systems by reviewing, analyzing, and developing solutions for end user needs. You will work closely with both human resources and information technology teams, growing professionally and personally within a compassionate and supportive healthcare community.

This is a remote position for candidates residing in Oregon or Washington, with the flexibility to work at home, on the road, or at a satellite location. Please note that new hires must complete an in-office health assessment in Portland, Oregon, and our employee health plan coverage is for providers based in the Legacy Health geographic region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between HR staff and Information Services, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Coordinate and write design specifications for functional changes and enhancements to HR systems.
  • Oversee system testing, upgrades, modifications, and maintain system security and controls.
  • Assist end users in developing reports, queries, and custom reports for HR data manipulation.
  • Interface with departments such as Payroll and Management Audit regarding HR Business Intelligence data.
  • Review, analyze and evaluate HR information systems, managing special assignments and projects.
  • Act as a project team leader for HR Analysts and technical support staff when needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, computer science, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: A minimum of five years working with complex databases, including HR and payroll systems in a networked environment.
  • Excellent organizational, written, verbal communication, and customer service skills across all levels.
  • Ability to understand and address end user needs effectively.
  • Familiarity with current HR systems technology and client-server technology.
  • Strong technical skills in mathematics, statistics, interpreting HR policies, and presenting data-driven recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with developing dashboards and complex report-writing within Power BI.
  • Experience in in-basket management, troubleshooting technical issues, and identifying solutions in Infor/Global HR systems.
