Mid-level Associate — Fund Finance (Charlotte)

Job Description

Mid-level associate role in a busy US finance practice based in Charlotte supporting fund finance and leveraged finance matters. The team works on both secured and unsecured lending across domestic and cross-border syndicated and bilateral financings.

Typical work includes fund financings, acquisition and bridge financings, leveraged finance and private credit transactions, and other complex lending matters. The role offers exposure to sophisticated, transaction-driven work for institutional and sponsor-backed clients.

The firm seeks candidates with strong academic credentials and proven law firm transactional experience. The position includes standard professional development support and firm benefits.

• 2–6 years of US law firm experience in fund finance, leveraged finance or private credit
• Experience with secured and unsecured lending, including syndicated and bilateral financings
• Comfort handling domestic and cross-border transactions
• Strong academic record and demonstrable transactional drafting and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication, organization, and client-service orientation
