Position Overview
Join our Field Team at WHSmith North America in Las Vegas, NV. As a Customer Service Associate at LAS, Electronics, you will provide excellent service in a fast‐paced, innovative retail environment. This full time/part time role offers Compensation: $17 hourly and requires weekend availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle each customer in a courteous and gracious manner.
- Maximize sales by achieving add-on sales and recommendations.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the store's stock, which varies by location.
- Assist in the upkeep of the store by maintaining displays and merchandising.
- Help with inventory and receiving of merchandise.
- Replenish backstock to ensure appropriate levels of floor merchandise.
- Markdown merchandise as needed.
- If designated as a Keyholder, responsibly manage store closing procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of retail sales and/or cash handling experience.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Ability to multitask and problem-solve.
- TAM Card may be required depending on location.
- Additional security clearance may be required depending on location.
- Must pass a Criminal Background Check and Drug Testing.
- Physical requirements including limited sitting; frequent standing, walking, climbing, crouching, bending, pushing, or pulling; normal or corrected vision and hearing; ability to distinguish colors, patterns, or materials; fine motor hand functions; and ability to lift 0-60 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Fluency in English is required for training, customer interactions, and compliance with company policies.
