Job Description
Position Overview
We’re looking for a super-talented Talent and Communications Coordinator to help Nebo create awareness and authentic connections with potential employees. Please note that we're not actively seeking to fill this position and cannot guarantee a quick response to any inquiries. The ideal candidate has a background in marketing (public relations and social media), event planning, and experience building and communicating with diverse audiences. They should also be passionate about making Nebo a better agency and ensuring it reflects the community in which we reside.
Key Responsibilities
- Help improve and optimize talent acquisition processes from sourcing to hiring and identify high-potential talent.
- Collaborate with executive leadership, HR, and PR to build outreach and engagement programs that drive brand awareness, trust, credibility, and relationships with diverse groups to recruit, hire, and retain talent.
- Create and maintain organizational lists and education/user group details to build relationships with a broad array of entities.
- Lead event planning and develop strategies for recruitment events such as university career fairs, speaking engagements, user groups, and conferences.
- Craft media and other support materials as needed.
- Provide ongoing monitoring, tracking, and reporting for recruitment efforts.
- Engage in thought leadership through speaking, panel participation, and writing content such as articles and blog posts.
- Assist with crafting and submitting award entries for HR and talent-related accolades.
- Recommend and implement continuous improvements to recruitment processes, tools, and solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with AP Style writing
- Excellent writing, grammar, and copyediting skills
- Strong verbal, presentation, and communication skills
- Solid organizational skills and keen attention to detail
- Familiarity with social media marketing
- A positive, enthusiastic, and hard-working attitude
- Experience with building and communicating with diverse audiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Past experience with media outreach
- Agency experience or previous public relations roles
- Experience with public relations and social media programs/platforms
- Prior engagement in social media marketing
- Educational background in journalism, communications, or public relations
