The Digital Design Lead is responsible for developing user-first creative and visual experiences that communicate AAA Life's brand identity, position, and messaging across all business-to-consumer (B2C) touchpoints in the customer lifecycle. This role will elevate AAA Life's branded properties for AAA members and policyholders as they engage with us online, translating complex topics into clear and digestible designs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute digital campaigns by collaborating with internal teams and agencies to ideate and deliver innovative marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee the digital brand identity on AAALife.com, email, social media, and other channels to ensure cohesive brand representation.
  • Develop and expand enterprise design strategy by establishing best practices and championing an omni-channel approach.
  • Drive digital optimization and testing by leading creative testing workstreams focused on leveraging data-driven successes.
  • Direct the creative process—including concept development, art direction, design, and copywriting—to align with business goals.
  • Collaborate with the Brand Team to manage AAA Life's B2C content library.
  • Inspire and motivate team members by cultivating a high-performance, collaborative culture.
  • Promote innovation by exploring new media opportunities and forward-thinking technology solutions.
  • Coordinate multiple creative priorities through effective planning, approval processes, and timely project delivery.
  • Engage cross-functionally with stakeholders in meetings and project teams to maintain alignment with brand objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years' expertise in graphic development.
  • Extensive experience in the insurance industry is preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in UX/UI Design, ADA Compliance, HTML and Content Management Systems, Integrated Marketing/Content Marketing, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro, etc.).
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with both internal SMEs and external agencies or third-party contacts.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time and complex, multifaceted programs with precision.
