Position Overview

Versiti is a fusion of donors, scientific curiosity, and precision medicine. Home to the world‐renowned Blood Research Institute, Versiti delivers life‐saving donor gifts and the scientific insight driving modern diagnostic laboratories. In this environment, the Tradeshow Marketing & KOL Strategy Manager owns our end‐to‐end presence at industry conferences and trade shows while leading our thought‐leader and KOL engagement engine to fuel reputation, pipeline, and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Tradeshow and Conference Leadership: Build and maintain a 12‐month events calendar aligned to service-line, product, and revenue goals; define objectives, audience, messaging, offers, and success metrics. Own end-to-end execution—including booth strategy/design, sponsorships, speaking abstracts, on-site execution, vendor management, and post-show follow-up—and manage budgets, contracts, and timelines.
  • KOL Strategy and Engagement: Develop and maintain a prioritized KOL map by service-line; plan and execute compliant programs (advisory boards, speaker forums, panels, etc.); coordinate speaker training, contracting, and honoraria; and build relationships with professional societies and congress organizers.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Partner with Business Development, Marketing, Sales, and Service Line Leaders to coordinate meeting schedules, demo scripts, messaging, executive visibility, keynotes, and media briefings while ensuring CRM hygiene and lead follow-through.
  • Other Duties: Execute additional responsibilities as assigned and ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory and standard operating procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field is required.
  • 4-6 years of B2B event/tradeshow or field marketing experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience leading major conference programs end-to-end.
  • Proven ability to translate events and KOL activities into pipeline impact with clear ROI.
  • Strong command of CRM/marketing automation and event technology (lead capture, badging, scanning).
  • Excellent project management, vendor management, and communication skills with an executive presence.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and contracting workflows in a regulated industry.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree (MBA or related advanced degree) preferred.
  • Experience in marketing related to healthcare, MedTech, diagnostics, or life sciences is a plus.
  • Experience with KOL/thought leader engagement, such as advisory boards and society partnerships, preferred.
  • Knowledge of SalesForce CRM is desired.
