Key Responsibilities

  • Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on user needs.
  • Understands industry requirements and applicable clinical, business, and infrastructure systems, including confidentiality requirements governed by federal and/or state law.
  • Devises or modifies systems to solve complex problems while considering computer equipment capacity, capabilities, limitations, cost-effectiveness, and desired results.
  • Provides analysis of clinical, business, and user needs, regulatory and documentation requirements, translating those into system requirement specifications for technical teams.
  • Leads information technology deployment and optimization efforts aligned with clinical, infrastructure, and business performance improvement objectives.
  • Offers clinical, technical, and business subject matter expertise to convert data into actionable information.
  • Certification in Willow Ambulatory is required.

Required Qualifications

  • Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must possess a BS or BA in a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years working with clinical and/or financial applications in a healthcare/physician practice environment.
  • Demonstrated progressive experience with information systems; healthcare environment experience is preferred.
  • Strong analytic and organizational skills, with proven abilities in planning, communications, process redesign, and problem-solving.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with nursing staff, clinical providers, technical teams, and business professionals.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of users with varying levels of computer expertise.
  • Ability to implement and adhere to best practices in information technology system integrity and build standards.
  • Current experience and/or certification in configuring Epic is required.
