Within Global Commercial Services Marketing (GCSM), you will serve as the Senior Manager, Marketing Business Operations – leading us into the next phase of operational excellence and control management. You will play a critical role ensuring that day-to-day operational risks are identified, assessed, and managed in compliance with enterprise Operational Risk Management programs, while partnering cross-functionally with key stakeholders throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster a culture of risk awareness and ongoing improvement within GCSM.
  • Facilitate the understanding and use of the risk governance framework through regular communication.
  • Enable and monitor the integration of changes in the Operational Risk framework.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on Operational Risk Management (ORM) metrics, issue/finding status, trends, and outcomes.
  • Support the day-to-day internal and external exam management process, including data request compilation, action implementation, and regulatory adherence.
  • Conduct independent root cause analyses to identify process vulnerabilities and recommend risk reduction measures to prevent potential Operational Risks.
  • Provide strategic direction to senior management on process risk issues and mitigation strategies.
  • Own and manage all BU Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) to ensure accurate execution.
  • Support GCSM in the design and modification of controls and processes to enhance proactive risk mitigation.
  • Act as a key leader to share insights, better practices, and themes across GCSM.

Required Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of exposure to or experience with operational risk management (e.g., Control Management, Risk, and/or Internal Audit); solid understanding of the operational risk management lifecycle.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with and obtain buy-in from senior stakeholders.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • A proactive, “roll-up your sleeves” attitude with a passion to win.
  • Highly organized with great attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with the operational risk management lifecycle and control management activities.
  • Strong internal partner management skills with a proven ability to influence and negotiate.
  • Strategic, analytical, and problem-solving mindset with the ability to drive fast resolution of issues.
  • Proven experience in process improvement, operational excellence, or a related field.
  • Expertise in process governance with a track record of establishing and overseeing robust decision-making processes aligned with policies and regulatory frameworks.
