Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Implementing and maintaining occupational health programs, policies, and procedures for the facility.
- Adhering to nursing procedures within scope of practice.
- Managing comprehensive injury and illness prevention and early intervention programs.
- Managing workers compensation cases and ensuring records and reporting systems comply with OSHA, state, company, and legal requirements.
- Attending facility management meetings to provide occupational health related updates.
- Participating in facility safety and ergonomic programs.
- Developing and coordinating health education programs for Team Members.
- Adhering to the highest standard of confidentiality.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Current unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse is required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2 years management experience and knowledge of occupational health nursing or relevant nursing field preferred.
- Basic computer skills to include Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to work with an electronic medical documentation system.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, independent decision making, and problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to walk throughout the facility, including walking up steps and using ladders, and respond to medical emergencies.
