Position Overview

Data Cloud Merge is a communications company established in 2002 in Jersey City, New Jersey. The role involves collaborating with testing teams and business users to develop test plans, gather and document business requirements, and support the overall quality assurance and business process design. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the testing team in developing the test plans for quality assurance based on functional requirements.
  • Gather Business Requirements, interact with stakeholders, developers, and the Project Manager, and facilitate JAD sessions to formulate business processes.
  • Create Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS) documents.
  • Design use cases for the technical team to identify key processes.
  • Participate in team meetings and report weekly and monthly project status updates to the project manager.
  • Work with business users to define business requirements and analyze possible technical solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Knowledge in eliciting, analyzing, and documenting requirements for business processes, policies, and information systems.
  • Extensive understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and methodologies including Agile (SCRUM) and Waterfall.
  • Proficiency in translating business requirements and user expectations into objectives, use cases, functional requirements, and non-functional requirements.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with business users and software developers.
