In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of Technical Data Analysts focused on building scalable, trusted data foundations that power analytics, reporting, and AI-driven insights for Intuit’s expert and customer experiences. You will partner closely with Data Engineering, Product Development, Data Science, and Finance teams to define data requirements, architect technical solutions, and deliver automated data pipelines and clean entities that serve as the single source of truth across ICS. If you’re passionate about building high-performing teams, driving consistency in data practices, and enabling business impact through scalable technical solutions, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Data Science, Finance, and Engineering teams to translate business needs into technical requirements, data designs, and validation frameworks.
  • Oversee data quality, governance, and compliance, ensuring adherence to Intuit’s clean data and 7216 standards across all analytical solutions.
  • Champion automation and standardization, enabling faster, more reliable delivery of reporting and insights through self-serve and agentic data products.
  • Drive operational excellence in the delivery of data pipelines, transformations, and dashboards through structured processes, documentation, and performance tracking.
  • Influence strategic priorities by providing data-backed recommendations and aligning analytics infrastructure with key ICS business outcomes.
  • Develop and mentor Technical Data Analysts, elevating their craft in technical design, stakeholder management, and analytical storytelling.

Required Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 8+ years of experience in data analytics, data architecture, or data engineering roles with at least 2+ years managing technical or analytics teams.
  • Proven ability to lead end-to-end delivery of data solutions from requirement gathering and architecture design to implementation, validation, and adoption.
  • Expertise in SQL, data modeling, and modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, Airflow, or dbt).
  • Deep understanding of data quality, governance, and lifecycle management frameworks.
  • Strong track record collaborating with cross-functional partners to translate business needs into scalable technical data products.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and grow talent, fostering both technical depth and strategic problem-solving skills within the team.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with a history of driving data alignment across diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with agentic or AI-driven analytics frameworks, automated validation systems, or metadata management tools.
  • Familiarity with Intuit’s 3-Star Clean Data framework and analytical architecture best practices.
  • Proven ability to balance technical execution and strategic leadership in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
